C2C Festival Returns to Turin and Milan with Hybrid Digital-Physical Format

The C2C Festival (Club To Club) returned to Turin's OGR and Milan's Fabrique in November 2021, after a year of remote digital editions during the pandemic. The festival, curated by Associazione Culturale XPLOSIVA, featured a hybrid format blending live performances with digital experiences. On November 5, the OGR hosted a night with Koreless, Ripatti (also known as Vladislav Delay and Luomo), and Bill Kouligas, showcasing releases like 'Agor' and 'Fun Is Not A Straight Line'. On November 10, Stone Islands Presents Milano at Fabrique included performances by Kode9, Arooj Aftab, and Sons Of Kemet led by Shabaka Hutchings. The festival's digital pivot in 2020, which included a remote event viewed via computer, phone, or TV, revolutionized the concept of performance by emphasizing audiovisual content beyond music. The 2021 edition marked a return to in-person gatherings while acknowledging the psychological impact of the pandemic on audience experience.
