C+S ARCHITECTS Named Italian Architect 2022 for Milan Residential Towers

C+S ARCHITECTS, established by Carlo Cappai and Maria Alessandra Segantini, received the "Architetto italiano 2022" award from the CNAPPC at the Festa dell'Architetto in Rome, coinciding with the Order of Architects' centenary in 2023. The jury, chaired by Goncalo Byrne, acknowledged C+S for the R11 Towers residential project in Milan, which was constructed from 2019 to 2022 and comprises 103 energy class A apartments. The project was lauded for its high-density efficiency and quality. Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi was honored with the title "Architetto Onorario." CNAPPC President Francesco Miceli highlighted the significance of Italian architects in society. Additionally, C+S is renovating the former sports hall in Bergamo for GAMeC, under Lorenzo Giusti's direction. Other notable mentions included Bricolo Falsarella, Carlana Mezzalira Pentimalli, Ceresa Architetti, and Atelier Poem, while BALANCE Architettura was recognized as "Giovane Talento dell'Architettura Italiana 2022."
