C-LAB 2026 Annual Exhibition Opens with Artists from Nine Countries

From May 8 to August 16, the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab, or C-LAB, will host its annual exhibition for 2026, called "WE Are Becoming." This event features 29 multimedia artworks by artists from nine countries, including Taiwan, the U.S., Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Lithuania, and Peru. Located in Taipei, the C-LAB campus has a rich history, reflecting influences from Japanese colonial times and the Cold War. Instead of simply showcasing the past, it functions as a lively and creative environment. The exhibition's theme of "Becoming" invites attendees to explore an evolving cultural scene and think about the role of art in contemporary life.
