Bvlgari's History and Iconic Jewelry Celebrated in Rome Exhibition

The exhibition 'BVLGARI, la storia, il sogno' opens in Rome, tracing the brand's evolution from a family-run workshop to a global luxury label under LVMH. Curated by the Polo Museale del Lazio in collaboration with Bvlgari, it features archival documents, vintage photos, films, and jewelry from the Heritage Collection, some displayed for the first time, alongside pieces from private collections and haute couture garments from Cecilia Matteucci Lavarini's collection. The show highlights the role of Hollywood stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Gina Lollobrigida, Ingrid Bergman, Anna Magnani, and Audrey Hepburn in the brand's success during Rome's Dolce Vita era. Polo Museale del Lazio director Edith Gabrielli emphasizes Bvlgari's significance to Italian craftsmanship and employment. The exhibition runs from June 26 to November 3, 2019, at Castel Sant'Angelo and Palazzo Venezia.
