Bvlgari Launches Foundation to Promote Art and Culture in Rome
Bvlgari has inaugurated its new foundation, Fondazione Bvlgari, in Rome, aiming to act as a catalyst for social and cultural transformation in the capital. The launch event took place at the Ara Pacis, attended by Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri, Superintendent Claudio Parisi Presicce, and Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin. The foundation will focus on monument protection, contemporary art support, education, philanthropy, and social inclusion. It continues Bvlgari's patronage, including a recent €700,000 funding for the Museo del Mausoleo di Augusto, designed by Rem Koolhaas and set to open in 2026, which will house archaeological finds like the Testa di Venere. Initiatives include collaborations with Save the Children, the Avrora award for talented women, and support for the Adotta una Scuola project by Altagamma. The Bvlgari Jewelry Academy and Scuola Bvlgari will transmit artisanal skills to new generations. Led by Jean-Christophe Babin and Laura Burdese, the foundation aims to become a reference point in Rome's cultural and social fabric and internationally.
