Bvlgari Launches First NFT Jewelry Collection with MIAT

digital · 2026-04-27

Bvlgari has entered the NFT space with its first collection of digital jewelry, created in collaboration with MIAT (Multiverse Institute For Arts And Technology), a Milan-based creative and educational center for immersive arts and emerging technologies. The collection, presented in Paris and at Vivatech 2022, includes three NFTs: Ruby Metamorphosis, Emerald Glory, and Beyond Wonder. The first two are inspired by physical necklaces from Bvlgari's new collection, while Beyond Wonder exists only digitally. The NFTs are not mere reproductions but unique digital artworks that combine 3D animation, advanced procedural vegetation growth systems, particle systems, and shaders to mimic diamonds, amethysts, turquoise, and emeralds. They incorporate sound and are designed to synchronize with each other, with the sequence Emerald Glory–Beyond Wonder–Ruby Metamorphosis referencing the Italian flag. The project was realized by Artech MIAT with Bvlgari Creative Director Lucia Silvestri and the brand's team. Elisabetta Rotolo, CEO and Founder of MIAT, stated that the collaboration shows how contemporary art's future is digital and how art and emerging technologies can create innovative, emotionally resonant experiences.
