other · 2026-04-22

Bvlgari has enhanced its Manifattura Bvlgari plant in Valenza, Italy, establishing it as the largest single-brand jewelry production site globally. Employment has surged from 370 in 2017 to 1,100, with aspirations to exceed 1,600 by 2029. CEO Jean-Christophe Babin emphasizes a comprehensive approach, employing artisans from more than 30 different nationalities. The facility incorporates sustainable features, including a geothermal field, 4,100 solar panels, and 100 cooling probes, which together fulfill 50% of its energy requirements, with the remainder sourced from entirely renewable energy. Environmental initiatives include reforesting 8,000 square meters and setting up 10 beehives. Additionally, Bvlgari has introduced Scuola Bvlgari, its inaugural publicly accessible jewelry-making school, created in collaboration with TADS to educate students in both traditional and modern techniques.
