Bvlgari Becomes First Exclusive Partner of Venice Biennale with Two Exhibitions

exhibition · 2026-04-26

Bvlgari has become the first exclusive partner in the 61st edition of the Venice Biennale, a role formalized through its Fondazione Bvlgari, launched in 2024. The partnership runs through 2030. The foundation debuts two exhibitions: Lotus L. Kang's site-specific installation 'The Face of Desire Is Loss' at a new Bvlgari pavilion in the Giardini, and a collateral event at the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana featuring Monia Ben Hamouda and Lara Favaretto. Kang's work uses unfixed photographic film, cast bronze lotus root, and a Super 8 film loop to explore cycles of death and rebirth. Ben Hamouda presents neon wall sculptures referencing fire, while Favaretto's 'Momentary Monument – The Library' allows visitors to take books home. Managing director Matteo Morbidi emphasized long-term artist support and a delicate approach to Venice's fragile environment.
