Butterfly: Video Art Exhibition on Metamorphosis and Rebirth in Turin

The exhibition "Butterfly" at Flashback Habitat in Turin, curated by collector Rebecca Russo, features video works from the Videoinsight® Collection exploring themes of transformation, rebirth, and catharsis. Twenty artists are included, such as Hans Op De Beeck, Kate Gilmore, Ulla von Brandenburg, Michael Fliri, Masbedo, Polina Kanis, Sissi, Marcello Maloberti, Goldschmied e Chiari, and Fabrizio Passarella. The venue, a former foundling hospital, amplifies the theme of care and memory. Russo's Videoinsight Foundation integrates art, psychology, and science for therapeutic purposes. The exhibition runs at Flashback Habitat, an ex-brefotrofio in Turin, and includes a new cinema hall and park. Works like Op De Beeck's "Parade" (2012) and Gilmore's "My love is an anchor" (2004) address existential and emotional struggles.
