Bushwick Open Studios Festival Expands with New Programs and Record Artist Participation
The seventh Bushwick Open Studios festival, organized by Arts In Bushwick, is happening this weekend, featuring more artists than ever and expanding its reach. It runs Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 pm and introduces exciting new elements like CinemaSunday, which will showcase films and discussions, and Community Day, offering crafts and live music for families. At the Bossa Nova Civic Club, the BOS Electronic Music Showcase will include performances from artists like Octo Octa and Stephanie Bonenfant. For art lovers, Claire Lachow's striking ink-on-paper works can be seen at Troutman Street, #144, while pieces by Will Hutnick and others can be found at #75 on 41 Varick Street, using unique materials.
