Bushwick Collective's 15th Anniversary Draws International Street Artists

The Bushwick Collective in Brooklyn celebrated its 15th anniversary with a week-long event featuring international and local street artists. Six Taiwanese artists—ALLO, Vasstar, Candy Kuo, Colasa, Mr. OGay, and BLACK ZAO—painted walls as part of the first Artist Talk hosted by the collective. The festivities included roof parties, DJ sets, and an open stage with rap performances. Since 2011, the collective has hosted about 400 artists. Meanwhile, a vertical rappelling mural takeover occurred overnight Thursday in NYC, featuring a crew of artists. The weekly street art roundup also highlights works by Bordalo II at the Wooden Walls Project in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and other artists across the region.
