Bunny Hennessey's 'Radical Happiness' at Union Gallery

exhibition · 2026-04-29

From May 2 to May 30, 2026, Union Gallery in London will present 'Radical Happiness,' a solo exhibition featuring the works of London-based artist Bunny Hennessey. Hennessey, born in 1991 and raised in coastal Devonshire, investigates the nuances of daily life through a phenomenological perspective, merging abstraction and figuration in vibrant compositions. Her artistic approach delves into the dynamics of emotional contrasts—such as pleasure and pain, excitement and fear—while emphasizing the energetic connections between image, sound, and movement. Currently pursuing an MFA at the Slade School of Fine Art, she previously earned First Class Honours from City & Guilds of London Art School and won the Freeland's Painting Prize in 2024. Her works have been exhibited at Chilli Art Projects and in the Roamer Project II group show in the Pyrenees. The exhibition will take place at 94 Teesdale St, London E2 6PU.
