Bumbershoot 2026: Wrestling, Cat Circus, and Fashion Shows at Seattle Center
Scheduled to take place from September 5 to September 6, 2026, the Bumbershoot Arts and Music Festival will once again be held at the Seattle Center, located beneath the Space Needle. This diverse event will feature performances by artists such as Turnstile, Death Cab for Cutie, Japanese Breakfast, Orville Peck, and Peaches. In addition to music, attendees can enjoy visual arts, comedy, film, dance, and fashion across a sprawling 74-acre venue. The Fashion District will highlight runway shows from more than five local designers and a marketplace with 15 regional vendors. The Recess District will host BMX activities and the Dope Planet Evening Spectacular, while Bumbermania! will offer wrestling events, roaming entertainers, carnival slideshows, and a puppet theater in a geodesic dome. The Fisher Rooftop will feature dance and composition performances, including the return of Motley Zoo's Cat Circus for its fourth year, showcasing adoptable cats. A new addition in 2026, VIDEORAMA: Northwest Shorts, will present independent films from the Northwest at the nearby Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF). Additionally, the off-site exhibition PROTEST! at A/NT Gallery, in partnership with History Link and Cannonball Arts, will explore over a century of activism in Seattle from 1919 to 2026. Tickets can be purchased on the Bumbershoot website.
