Bulgari Opens Milan Flagship Store with Art and Design
Bulgari has opened a new flagship store in Milan's Via Montenapoleone after a two-year renovation of the neoclassical Palazzetto Taverna Radice Fossati, designed by Ferdinando Albertolli in 1835. The three-story, 750-square-meter space blends Roman inspirations with Milanese architecture, featuring works by artists Luca Pignatelli and Fabio Viale, and collaborations with Italian artisans including Venini, Barovier&Toso, Pictalab, Damiani, Musiva, and Rubelli. Furniture is by Mangiarotti. The store includes an Infinity Gallery referencing Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a Rotonda inspired by the Temple of Minerva, and a digital art piece by Stefano Contiero. A monumental staircase with gold details leads to upper floors. The first floor houses High Jewelry and a VIC Room by architect Giuliano Andrea dell'Uva, while the second floor serves as an exhibition space. The store also presents 'Tubogas & Beyond,' a selection of Tubogas creations on view until June 29, 2025, including the first Tubogas bracelet from 1941 and a choker owned by Barbara and Frank Sinatra. Concurrently, Fondazione Bvlgari announced its first patronage project in Milan, supporting the Museo Novecento's expansion, expected to open by the first half of 2027. The announcement was made by Laura Burdese, Deputy CEO of Bvlgari, alongside Milan mayor Giuseppe Sala and Fondazione Bvlgari director Matteo Morbidi.
