BSW Leader Amira Mohamed Ali Criticizes AfD and CDU Over US Allegiance

Amira Mohamed Ali, co-leader of the Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW), has accused both the AfD and CDU of being subservient to the United States. In an interview with Der Freitag, she stated that the AfD's US allegiance is no different from that of the CDU. Mohamed Ali also addressed the BSW's poor polling numbers, migration policy, and feminism. She revealed that the party recently received a million-euro donation from entrepreneur Thomas Stanger of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The BSW is awaiting a decision from the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe, which she hopes will order a recount of the federal election due to proven counting errors that she claims prevented the party from entering the Bundestag. Mohamed Ali, formerly chair of the Left Party in the Bundestag, now leads the BSW alongside Fabio De Masi.
