Bruxelles 2026: Renaissance, Art Fair, and Kanal Opening
Brussels is set to enjoy a vibrant cultural year in 2026, highlighted by several key exhibitions and events. The Bozar will host "Bellezza e Bruttezza," curated by Chiara Rabbi Bernard, featuring around 90 artworks exploring beauty and ugliness from the Renaissance. Among the highlights is Titian's rarely seen Mascheroni from 1576. Additionally, the "Picture Perfect" exhibition will analyze aesthetic trends from the 1960s onward. From April 23-26, Art Brussels will bring together 136 galleries from 27 nations at Brussels Expo. The highly anticipated Kanal opens in November 2026, boasting a 40,000-square-meter cultural complex within the former Citroën factory.
