Bruno Munari Association launches online platform for creative home learning

digital · 2026-04-27

The Bruno Munari Association (ABM) has launched 'In casa con Munari', a website offering creative activities for children and families based on the artist's methodology. The project emerged from a collaboration with web design studio Incode di Cremona during the COVID-19 pandemic, turning the limitation of staying at home into a resource. The site features original laboratory activities designed to stimulate experimentation and help users perceive their homes from a new perspective. ABM was founded in 2001 by former collaborators of Munari, including his son Alberto Munari and psychologist Donata Fabbri, both former students of Jean Piaget. The association focuses on studying and systematizing Munari's methodological heritage, offering training programs for teachers, designers, and cultural operators. The website has attracted over 4,500 simultaneous users on its second day, with access from the US, UK, Switzerland, France, Spain, and Japan. ABM also collaborated on the 'Toccare la Bellezza' exhibition in Ancona with the Museo Tattile Statale Omero, exploring tactile experiences. The association previously created the MU-NARI installation at Expo 2015 and has a decade-long collaboration with Rome's childhood services.
