Bruna Esposito's 'In Light of Facts' Opens at Magazzino Italian Art, New York

From July 24, 2026, to February 1, 2027, Magazzino Italian Art in Cold Spring, New York, will host 'In Light of Facts,' a solo exhibition by Bruna Esposito, an Italian artist born in Rome in 1960. The exhibition comprises two distinct rooms: the first displays the 'Inconveniente' series, featuring sculptural assemblages made from emergency blankets and found objects, while the second room showcases the video installation 'Oltremare (sotto terra vulnerabili)' (2006–2011), complete with hanging lamps. Nicola Lucchi, the artistic director, emphasized that the works explore themes of vulnerability and border crossing, particularly significant in light of recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions. Additionally, the season will feature 'Remo Salvadori: Be Here Now' and a bibliographic exhibition on Arte Povera at MoMA PS1 during the New York Art Book Fair, scheduled for September 24–27, 2026.
