Brooks Scarpa Huber's Northview Apartments Opens in Sacramento
Brooks Scarpa Huber has completed Northview Point Apartments, a 67-unit low-income housing complex in Sacramento, California. The 31,101-square-foot project, finished in 2025, replaces typical defensive apartment buildings with a carved-out central court that prioritizes social space over private space. Designed by Lawrence Scarpa with Angela Brooks as principal in charge, the complex features strategically placed windows and exterior circulation that visually connect units to communal areas. The landscape was designed by Brooks + Scarpa with PLAN(t) Landscape Studio. Structural engineering was by Labib Funk, with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing by IDiaz Design. The contractor was Snyder Langston. The project was curated by Susanna Moreira.
