BROEK festival returns to Mechelen with site-specific performances and Hotel Ruin exhibition
Kunstencentrum nona is excited to announce the fifth edition of the BROEK festival, scheduled for June 3 to 7 at Vrijbroekpark in Mechelen. This outdoor event will feature an array of theater and dance performances tailored to the park's unique environment, alongside an inaugural exhibition at the renowned Hotel Ruin. The festival will kick off with Middenstip, created by nona’s social-artistic group, Stamppot. Notable performers, including Femke & Lander Gyselinck and Jan Martens, will participate, with the family-friendly production BOS (8+) from BRONKS. Starting June 5, the CONTOUR SERIES #3: First Floor will present contemporary artists amid a stunning backdrop.
