festival-fair · 2026-04-19

The British Art Fair will take place at London's Saatchi Gallery from September 25 to 28, 2025, featuring an enhanced lineup with more than 80 UK galleries and dealers. This year’s event highlights prominent British artists from the 20th and 21st centuries, such as Banksy, Barbara Hepworth, Damien Hirst, David Hockney, Frank Auerbach, L.S. Lowry, Paula Rego, and Tracey Emin. Colin Gleadell curates a special exhibition titled Unsung, which explores the reasons behind the historical neglect of certain artists, organized into themes of academic, bigotry, marriage, and politics. Notable overlooked artists include Antony Eyton and William Johnstone, among others. The SOLO Contemporary section will showcase emerging talents like G L Brierley and Ayogu Kingsley. Additionally, Digitalism, the fair’s digital art segment, will feature 22 stands with works from over 60 artists across various media. Curator Rebekah Tolley emphasizes that Digitalism represents "an art movement in its own right." The fair has been a staple for 37 years, drawing around 12,000 visitors each year.
