Bridge Art Residency in Noto Concludes with Simone Cametti and Piotr Hanzelewicz

The Bridge Art residency, which was co-founded by Valeria Valenza and Lori Adragna, recently wrapped up at Tenuta la favola in Sicily. This event was supported by the Comune di Noto and collaborated with Istituto Gestalt H.C.C.- Italy and C.U.M.O Centro Universitario Mediterraneo Orientale. The residency's theme, "Il vuoto fertile" (The Fertile Void), drew inspiration from Fritz Perls, prompting participants to delve into the concepts of existence through both body and language. Artists Simone Cametti and Piotr Hanzelewicz, who were selected through the fullygrounding_residency2019 call, contributed to the project. Cametti's work "24 carati" focused on the carob tree, while Hanzelewicz's "Il vuoto fertile ovvero l'effetto Casimir visto da Piotr" engaged local groups and launched the Banca delle Carte e delle Matite at Palazzo Nicolaci in Noto.
