BRIC-à-brac at Galleria Nazionale di Roma Explores Global Economic Shifts

The Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome presents 'BRIC-à-brac | The Jumble of Growth | 另一种选择', an exhibition examining the relationship between the economic transformations of BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China) and the crisis in Western countries. The show highlights disparities and contradictions of globalization and capitalism, featuring artists not only from BRIC countries but also Europeans who deconstruct or admire these cultures. Notable works include Jamal Penjweny's video on unfulfilled dreams of Europe, Anna Maria Maiolino's photographs on cannibalism, Du Zhenjun's dystopian photomontages, and Tian Longyu's 'A…O ! / A…O !' depicting an elephant swallowed by a tiger, symbolizing the need to rethink certainties.
