Brian Eno's Sound Flower Sculptures at Galleria Valentina Bonomo in Rome

Musician Brian Eno presents his 'sound sculptures shaped like flowers' at Galleria Valentina Bonomo in Rome. The works consist of small speakers mounted on long metal stems that sway according to the sound they emit. Eno describes this as a special occasion, only the second time he has offered his works for sale in an exhibition, calling it an experiment. The project originated from his experience with Montefiore Hospital in England, the first hospital worldwide to offer artistic installations to improve patient hospitalization. He created 'Quiet Room for Montefiore', a room with visual and sound installations for thinking or relaxing, and '77 Million Paintings for Montefiore' in the reception area. The series 'Light music' derives directly from these experiences. Separately, on Saturday 21 May, for the Night of Museums, major museums, monuments and archaeological sites of Mibact will have three hours of extraordinary evening opening at the symbolic cost of one euro.
