Brescia Musei wins Cariplo grant for Geronimo Stilton AR app
Fondazione Cariplo has awarded a €200,000 grant to Fondazione Brescia Musei for the creation of an augmented reality application featuring Geronimo Stilton, a character developed by Elisabetta Dami. The app, produced by Way Srl, will utilize AR technology on personal devices to enhance visitors' experiences in the Brescia Musei consortium museums. Director Stefano Karadjov emphasized that this marks the first time travel experience narrated by Stilton, who boasts 170 million copies sold globally. The app will be accessible on interactive whiteboards and will be available in English. Educational materials are being developed in collaboration with Atlantyca Entertainment. Furthermore, Brescia Musei secured a €26,000 grant for the restoration of Giacomo Rossetti’s photographic print.
