ArtReview collabora con la Brent Biennial per una programmazione pubblica con opere d'arte basate sulle biblioteche
ArtReview ha collaborato con la Brent Biennial per organizzare tre eventi pubblici incentrati sulla politica delle biblioteche, le preoccupazioni ambientali e le storie locali. Il 19 settembre verranno svelati oltre 20 pezzi commissionati nelle biblioteche di Brent, celebrando il suo titolo di London Borough of Culture 2020. Tra gli artisti presenti figurano Carl Gabriel, Avant Gardening, John Rogers, Dawn Mellor, Imran Qureshi, Rasheed Araeen, Ruth Beale, David Blandy, Brian Griffiths e Dan Mitchell. Le opere principali includono la scultura di Rasheed Araeen presso The Library at Willesden Green e un murale di George Michael di Dawn Mellor alla Kingsbury Library. La direttrice artistica Lois Stonock ha sottolineato l'importanza della biennale nell'evidenziare la creatività della comunità. Brent segue Waltham Forest, che ha ricevuto questo riconoscimento nel 2019.
