Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa Reopens After Two-Year Renovation

After a comprehensive two-year renovation, Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, Germany, has reopened, emphasizing its spa facilities. The five-story spa, primarily situated in Villa Stéphanie, features 15 rooms and suites within a historic royal residence. Amenities include various saunas, a steam room, a hammam, a ladies-only sauna, a beautifully tiled shower room, a large Finnish sauna at 90 degrees Celsius, a cold plunge pool, and an indoor pool adorned with Roman-style frescoes and columns. Countess Bergit Douglas of MM Design led the refurbishment, maintaining the Beaux-Arts aesthetic while integrating modern features. Established in 1834, the hotel has welcomed notable figures like Walt Disney and Henry Ford. The Oetker family acquired it in 1941, and it is part of a collection that includes Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Le Bristol. Baden-Baden also boasts the Festspielhaus opera house and seven museums. The spa offers treatments such as the 90-minute 'mineral wellness cure' with peat mud, a mineral bath, and massage, along with a preventative healthcare clinic managed by Dr. Harry König, providing services from detox to dentistry.
