Breaking the Waves exhibition opens in Shanghai with 14 international artists exploring dialogue post-isolation

The exhibition 'Breaking the Waves' will be on display at the chi K11 art museum in Shanghai from July 17 to October 17, 2021. Curated by ArtReview and organized by K11 Art Foundation, it showcases the works of 14 artists, including Larry Achiampong, Chim↑Pom, and Wolfgang Tillmans. Following its Shanghai run, the exhibition will move to K11 Art Foundation locations in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. It delves into themes of communication, connectivity, and the relationship between humans and nature, embodying a sense of hope for renewal after COVID-19. Opened in 2013, chi K11 art museum covers 3,000 square meters and has featured over 60 exhibitions. Founded by Adrian Cheng in 2010, K11 Art Foundation promotes contemporary Chinese art.
