Breadway: Matera's Immersive Bread Festival Explores Culinary Heritage

Bread, one of the world's most beloved foods, takes center stage in the immersive Breadway festival in Matera's Piccianello district. Running from June 6 to 9, the event features workshops, art installations, and performances tracing bread-making from grain to loaf. It offers locals and visitors a chance to explore ancient techniques blending tradition, flavor, and food culture.
