Brazilian galleries participate in Art Basel's online edition during pandemic

Five Brazilian galleries participated in the online version of Art Basel in 2021, as the art market adapted to pandemic conditions. The hybrid format was also adopted by Frieze New York that same year, blending physical and digital elements. In Buenos Aires, an exhibition created dialogue between artists Leda Catunda and Alejandra Seeber. A collaborative project brought together galleries and cultural spaces on a virtual platform, addressing challenges and alternatives in virtual fairs. The art world continued operating through internet channels during the coronavirus period in Brazil.
