Brazil's Luxury Hotel Boom Transforms Hospitality Landscape with Design-Driven Properties
Brazil is witnessing a remarkable increase in luxury hotel construction, with more than 150 projects either recently launched or underway. Just five years ago, boutique accommodations were scarce in São Paulo. The shift began with the establishment of hotels such as Emiliano (2001), Hotel Unique (2002), and Fasano São Paulo (2003). A significant milestone occurred in January 2022 with the debut of Alexandre Allard's Rosewood São Paulo. Future developments include Fasano's second location in 2023, the Pulso Hotel in early 2024, and Soho House São Paulo in 2024.
