Bracci Art Gallery Opens in Orvieto with Ephemera Show
Siblings Olivia Alexandra and Alexander Bracci are launching a new contemporary art space in Orvieto, the Bracci Art Gallery, at Corso Cavour 166. The inaugural exhibition, Ephemera, opens June 7, 2025, and runs through July 7, 2025, focusing on works on paper from the second half of the 20th century to today. The gallery joins the existing BM Gallery (run by Olivia Alexandra since 2021 at Corso Cavour 176), doubling the family's presence on the main street. The Bracci siblings previously operated 3B Gallery in Rome (founded 2015, now run separately by sister Jessica Bracci) and Contatto Gallery (opened 2016, closed due to the pandemic). Ephemera features historic artists such as Achille Perilli, Agostino Bonalumi, Toti Scialoja, Gillo Dorfles, Luigi Veronesi, Pino Pascali, Mimmo Rotella, Sebastian Matta, and Isabella Ducrot, alongside contemporary installations by Riccardo Ajossa (b. 1974, Rome), Jukhee Kwon (b. 1981, South Korea), and Marialuna Storti (b. 1984, Rome). The exhibition also includes artist books published by Sergio Pandolfini (II Bulino), Egidio Fiorin (Colophonarte), and 2RC Rossi/Cioppi, featuring works by Carla Accardi, Giulia Napoleone, Seiko Tachibana, Claudio Verna, Walter Valentini, Pietro Consagra, Riccardo Licata, and Vincenzo Epifani. A critical text by Antonio Epifani accompanies the show. The gallery aims to present contemporary proposals in dialogue with modern art, design, and artist jewelry, supported by the city of Orvieto.
