Brabus and Sunreef Launch 55-Foot Catamaran with 40-Knot Speed
Brabus, the German tuner known for modifying luxury cars, has partnered with Sunreef on the Brabus Ultima 55, a 55-foot catamaran that can reach over 40 knots. The vessel builds on Sunreef's Ultima 55 and features carbon-fiber details, a hydrofoiling system, and two interior layouts. The aft deck includes lateral folding platforms that expand the beam from 18.4 to 24.9 feet, sunpads, a retractable carbon-fiber dining table, a grill, and a wet bar. Inside, options include an owner's suite, VIP stateroom, and crew cabin for four guests, or three guest cabins and one crew cabin for five guests. The salon has a fully equipped galley, a 42-inch TV, and a Bowers & Wilkins sound system. Interiors incorporate Brabus's Moonstone Masterpiece leather and Triangle stitching. Power comes from twin six-cylinder engines producing 725 hp each. Brabus CEO Constantin Buschmann stated the design aims for a "One Second Wow" effect. Brabus also plans to unveil yachts with AB Yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show.
