BR/BAUEN Design Group Creates Visual Identity for Brazilian Soccer Team Goiás Esporte Clube

BR/BAUEN Design Group completed a comprehensive visual identity redesign for Brazilian soccer team Goiás Esporte Clube, marking the first soccer team project featured on ABDZ. The extensive project encompassed everything from the team's logo to uniforms and marketing materials. Design direction was led by Rodrigo Francisco, with project management handled by Rodrigo Francisco and Braz de Pina. Research and brand strategy were developed by Frank Michael and Luís Feitoza, while design development involved Rodrigo Francisco, Murilo Pascoal, and Verônica Sauthier. Website design was executed by Verônica Sauthier. Quantitative research was conducted by Anderson Santos Gonçalves, Carla Matias, and Mario Rodrigues Neto. Mascot illustrations were created by Elson Souto, with motion elements developed by Eduardo França. The project was particularly challenging given the passionate cultural significance of soccer in Brazil, where team identity changes face intense public scrutiny. The Goiás Esporte Clube leadership included Executive President Sérgio Gabriel Rassi, Vice Presidents Marcelo Almeida and Isvami Vieira Júnior, and Marketing Manager Monara Marques.
