Bouti Studio's Temple Lighting Collection Inspired by Sri Lankan Temples

Bouti Studio, led by designer Clément Boutillon, has launched the Temple lighting collection, a series of handcrafted ceramic lamps inspired by the architecture of Sri Lankan temples and the ascent of Adam's Peak. The collection comprises three typologies: a table lamp, a wall light (also available as a pendant and portable lamp), and a portable lamp. Each piece is defined by geometric volumes, integrated openings, and a restrained material palette. The design process combines hand drawing and digital modeling, with forms 3D printed to create plaster molds. Liquid faience is poured into the molds, then hand-finished after demolding. The ceramics undergo two firings: first at 1,020°C, then after glazing at 1,040°C. Solid-brass fixings and satin braided cables are visible design elements. The collection is produced in France at Bouti Studio's workshop and is available to private clients and interior designers.
