Boudry/Lorenz Exhibition at South London Gallery with Nana Adusei-Poku Talk

On Saturday, December 15, at the South London Gallery, Nana Adusei-Poku, a writer and academic based in Berlin, will present a lecture titled 'Detox! From Alphonse Bertillon to Queer Visuality.' This talk is in response to the exhibition 'Toxic Play in Two Acts' created by Pauline Boudry and Renate Lorenz. Following the lecture, there will be a discussion and artists' talk featuring Boudry and Lorenz. Curated by Electra, the exhibition is open from December 14, 2012, to February 24, 2013. Additionally, Issue 31 of Afterall journal, which includes a detailed analysis of the artists' film installations by Gregg Bordowitz, is available for £5 at the event or free online.
