Boucheron's New Haute Joaillerie Collection Pays Homage to Founder Frédéric

exhibition · 2026-04-24

In February, Claire Choisne, the creative director at Boucheron, presented the latest haute joaillerie collection, which draws heavily from the innovative designs of the brand's founder, Frédéric Boucheron. Notably, Frédéric was the first to establish a jewelry store on Place Vendôme in 1893, to display jewels on velvet panels, and to design a necklace without a clasp. Among the highlights of Choisne's collection is "The Address," a geometric necklace inspired by the layout of Place Vendôme, crafted from white gold, baguette diamonds, and black lacquer. Additionally, "The Spark" reimagines Frédéric's question-mark necklace, featuring an enhanced mechanism and more artistically cut stones, while preserving the original's essence of lightness and freedom. The collection is seen as a tribute to its founder.
