Bottega Veneta's Waves Event Merges Middle Eastern Art and Music in Dubai

Bottega Veneta staged an immersive art event called Waves at Concrete in Dubai, blending music and visual art under creative director Matthieu Blazy. Lebanese architect Carl Gerges collaborated with Blazy to design the atmospheric setting, featuring burnt yellow seating that evoked desert dunes. Lebanese artist Tarek Atoui contributed a sound installation that transformed the space into a living soundscape, encouraging multi-sensory engagement beyond passive listening. Performers included Palestinian-Jordanian singer Zeyne, Palestinian-Canadian singer Nehmasis, Kuwaiti artist and composer Fatima Al Qadiri, Egyptian singer and composer Dina El Wedidi, and Bachir Attar, leader of Morocco's Master Musicians of Jajouka.
