Bottega Veneta and Shanghai Centre of Photography Launch Four-Exhibition Series

exhibition · 2026-05-05

Bottega Veneta, the luxury brand owned by Kering, has teamed up with the Shanghai Centre of Photography (SCoP), which is a major hub for photography in China. Their collaboration kicks off with an exhibition called 'Made In Germany: German Photography from the 19th Century to Today,' running until April 2, 2017. This event is the first of four international exhibitions that stem from creative director Tomas Maier's connection with photography. Since he joined in 2001, Maier has introduced the 'Art of Collaboration' project, encouraging photographers to take part in advertising. Notable German photographers featured in the exhibition include August Sander and Bernd and Hilla Becher. Maier highlighted his lifelong love for photography and the brand’s commitment to arts and culture.
