Bosco Sodi and artists find creative freedom on Folegandros

other · 2026-05-31

Bosco Sodi and Lucia Corredor first visited Folegandros in 2018, leading Sodi to create a holiday home with Deca Architecture. Inspired by the island, he produced paintings for Axel Vervoordt and is now collaborating with Boris Vervoordt and Bas Smets on a sculpture park. Severine Nenciarini constructed her residence with Stéphane Ghestem, while Lisbet Schou, who settled in 1992 after arriving in 1984, operates the Pounta restaurant. The island welcomed its first five-star hotel, Anemi, in 2007, and the Gundari hotel by Block 722 is set to open in 2024.
