Bosch Aymerich Foundation Opens Fourth Sculpture Prize Call
The Bosch Aymerich Foundation has announced the fourth edition of its Sculpture Prize, open until July 15, 2026. The award, worth €30,000, targets artists over 18 residing in Spain with at least two group shows or one solo exhibition in the last five years. The prize emphasizes sculpture's dialogue with architecture, reflecting founder Josep Maria Bosch Aymerich's architectural practice. The jury includes MACBA president Ainhoa Grandes, foundation trustee Andrés Escarpenter, Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Lisboa artistic director Nuria Enguita, independent curator Alexandra Laudo, and collector Juan Várez. Previous winners: Sergio Prego (first edition, 'Trece a Centauro' at Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao), Júlia Spínola (second edition, 'Vis' at Fundació Joan Miró's Espai 13), and Alberto Peral (2025, 'Splashing Mies' at Barcelona's Mies van der Rohe Pavilion). The winner will be announced in October 2026.
