The cult Italian TV series Boris returns for a fourth season on Disney+ on October 26, 2022, 15 years after its debut. The show, originally aired on Fox between 2007 and 2010, follows director René Ferretti and his team as they produce a new series titled Vita di Gesù for a global streaming platform. The season satirizes the platform era, political correctness, and the changing audiovisual landscape. Creators Giacomo Ciarrapico and Luca Vendruscolo aimed to reinvent the show while staying true to its roots, adopting a 'gattopardesca' solution where everything changes so nothing changes.
