festival-fair · 2026-04-26

The inaugural BorghilentiFestival is scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 2, 2024, in Castelnuovo Bocca d'Adda, Lodi, emphasizing cultural revitalization in smaller communities. This event is a product of the Borghilenti initiative, which won the PNNR Borghi call from the Italian Ministry of Culture, targeting urban renewal in river towns along the Po River and the VENTO cycling route. Organized by local authorities and the Politecnico di Milano's Department of Architecture, under the guidance of scientific director Professor Paolo Pileri, the festival will showcase discussions, art, music, and theater, featuring notable guests such as Antonella Ruggiero and Paolo Fresu. Highlights include a talk on May 31 and previews of Casa Peroni to promote inclusive tourism, all set in Parco Adda Sud and the Po Grande Mab UNESCO Reserve.
