Borderlight: Light Installations Transform Milan's Peripheries
An exhibition titled 'Borderlight. City as a Vision' is currently taking place in Milan, running through June 21. Organized by the Borderlight Collective as part of the 'Lacittàintorno' initiative supported by Fondazione Cariplo and the Comune di Milano, this event is curated by Gabi Scardi. The exhibition showcases light installations in less-recognized areas, exploring notions of light and darkness. Highlighted locations include San Vittore and 40 Martiri. Additionally, workshops in Corvetto aim to identify sites for future permanent artwork, contributing to a project called 'Monumento Diffuso.' The collective has been active since 2015, with initial installations launched in 2016 and 2017.
