Bookface trend celebrated in short film by Erlangen library

A short film titled 'Corpus Libris' celebrating the 'bookface' meme trend has been released by the public library of Erlangen, Germany. The one-minute video, directed by filmmaker Jacco Kliesch, compiles successful examples of bookfacing, a social media practice where people align book covers with parts of their face or body. The trend, popular on Instagram, is also used by publishers to promote new releases and has a music counterpart called 'sleeveface' for album covers.
