The Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro, located at Rua Jardim Botânico 414, is hosting the Brazilian launch of 'Cultural Anthropophagy: The 24th Bienal de São Paulo 1998.' Lisette Lagnado, the director of the school and one of the book’s co-editors alongside Pablo Lafuente, will lead the event. Lucy Steeds, the Afterall Series Editor for Exhibition Histories, will co-host. Notably, Mirtes Marins de Oliveira from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi will also be contributing. This publication, released by Afterall Books in partnership with Bard College’s Center for Curatorial Studies in 2015, is available through Koenig Books and ARTBOOK | D.A.P. Best part?
