Book chronicles CRAC Cremona's decade of art-education fusion

Dino Ferruzzi's book 'Ten Years 2004-2014. Arte, educazione, formazione, lavoro, spazio pubblico' published by postmediabooks documents the decade-long experience of CRAC (Centro Ricerca Arte Contemporanea) hosted at Liceo artistico statale Bruno Munari in Cremona. The center created a tight link between artistic research and daily educational action, involving students, families, and other institutions through workshops, exhibitions, and seminars. Despite its success, the center was closed two years ago by the new school principal due to resistance to innovation. Ferruzzi, with Gianna Paola Machiavelli, reconstructed the path in the book, which includes a rich photographic archive, critical contributions, and testimonies. The publication highlights the paradox of Italy lacking a culture of contemporaneity despite its artistic heritage, and serves as a tool for schools aiming to become shared goods.
