A February auction at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris achieved €1.9 million in sales with 100% of lots sold by value. The event featured prestigious wine cellars from Michelin-starred chefs, including collections from Bruno Cirino and Michel Trama. Chef Michel Trama's sale, titled 'A Journey Through L'Aubergade's Cellar & The Best of French Cellars,' realized €375,030. Amayès Aouli, Global Head of Wine & Spirits at Bonhams, emphasized that strong results stem from collaboration, global expertise, and precise timing. He noted the auction house works closely with consignors and collectors to present collections built over lifetimes. Provenance and partnership were highlighted as critical factors in a selective market. The sale followed a slower January period, demonstrating renewed market activity. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti was among the notable assortments presented.
