Bonhams Paris to Auction Antonio Onrubia's African and Oceanic Art Collection in May 2026

From May 8 to 18, 2026, Bonhams in Paris will host an online auction showcasing African and Oceanic Art, featuring over sixty items from the collection of Antonio Onrubia, a collector based in Barcelona. Among the notable pieces is a wooden Korwar ancestor figure from Kurudu Island in Cenderawasih Bay, New Guinea, which was collected by Jacques Viot in 1929 and is estimated to fetch between €5,000 and €8,000.
