Bonhams Paris auction sells entire Hostellerie Jérôme wine cellar collection for €609,000
The legendary wine cellar from Hostellerie Jérôme achieved a 100% sell-through rate at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris on Saturday 14 February. All 306 lots found buyers, generating nearly €609,000 including buyer's premium, which represented 155% of the low estimate. Collectors from 26 countries participated in the auction, with successful bidders hailing from 15 nations across Europe, the United Kingdom, APAC, and the United States. Chef Bruno Cirino observed the proceedings as rare Premier and Grand Crus went under the hammer at the Avenue Hoche venue. Attendees enjoyed Maison Astara caviar and raised Riedel glasses while bidding in person, by phone, and online. The online portion of the sale continues through 20 February, featuring Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and other selections from the celebrated cellar.
